Unfortunately, Väderötrafiken does not offer life jackets for dogs. You will need to bring one with you.
3. Are strollers allowed on the boat?
Yes, strollers are allowed for free on the boat.
4. Can you camp on the island?
Unfortunately, camping is not allowed on the island.
5. Why are there no tickets on Sundays?
The tour from Båstad does not run on Sundays as Väderötrafiken runs Guided Adventures! So there will not be regular service to Halland's Vädero. If you have to go on a Sunday, we recommend going from Torekov as that tour runs on Sundays too.
6. How do I book my ticket back to home?
The return trip is available at different times, depending on the date. When you click on Check Availability and then select the date, you will be given various options. Just scroll up and down to see the different options. Take a look at the timetable in the Extra section to know more about timings.
7. Are you guaranteed a seat on the last trip home?
Being at the departure point early in time will help secure a seat.
8. Are you allowed to go Båstad - Halland's Väderö and then Halland's Väderö - Torekov?
Yes, you can. But please note that departures are always subject to weather conditions.
9. Where do the return trips depart from?
Departure is from Sandhamnsbryggan where visitors que up to go home.
10. The weather is unpredictable, so how does this affect the trips?
This is a 40-minute trip so it is heavily dependent on the weather. If weather permits, Väderötrafiken runs as usual from Båstad. On the other hand, the tours from Torekov (which is about 20 minutes away by car), run smoother as the weather is more favorable and the distance from there is shorter.
